A great family restaurant, ice cream shop. The Sellersburg Diary Queen is located in the middle of town on the main strip. It is also in a convenient location in that it is close to the interstate and major highways. The only challenge about its location is trying to turn left when you enter or leave, as this is a busy area.

The food itself is very good, especially during breakfast. My parents took me there as a child on weekends for their generous biscuits and gravy or sausage biscuits and a hash brown. Unlike McDonald's the portions are larger for a better price, and the sausage is a bit firmer and more appealing. The food is very country-style but mainstream.

Dessert is also a big draw. The blizzard of the month campaign is always interesting, and the frozen ice cream cakes are the best around. A personal favorite, albeit seasonal, is the pumpkin pie blizzard with "extra stuff." The dessert menu is substantial and offers something for everyone.
