Excellent food. Quality service with unusually variety of items. Doll's is a wonderful neighborhood market. It outshines the supermarket by a mile. The fresh and wholesome items on the menu outshines the pricey,"whole food" competitor. I have always been treated with warmth,efficiency and respectful service. They evn carry your groceries to your vehicle. Eventhough they may be busy, you are given their undivided attention.

My regret is that they do not have another branch. But they remain genuinely a great and delicious choice! Bravo!!!!!!

• Pros: best reasonably priced holiday dinner
• Cons: minimum desert selection for the meal

Should Be Friendlier...

I agree with the other reviewer...a couple of additions...they have good weekly specials and are worth going for. The baby back ribs in the custom meat section are absolutely fabulous, especially when on sale for $3.99/lb. Have consistently been disappointed with the cashiers and front office...you would expect a neighborhood grocery to make you feel appreciated for bypassing the chains, but the cashiers are usually cranky unless you are part of the "club" (unfortunately I don't know how to join!). The guys in the meat department are as helpful and friendly as can be, and make up for the others.

• Cons: Cashiers are cranky and seem to prefer to be just about anywhere else

Non-glitzy but very nice upscale neighborhood grocery

Nice upscale grocery that's on the traditional side as opposed to glitzy or trendy. Has EXCELLENT selection of dressings,condiments, sauces, etc., bakery, deli, hot bar, instore made salads, soups, etc. Prices on the high side but specials are offered and nothing's outrageous. Very convenient in terms of parking and size.

• Pros: Excellent selection of spices, condiments, etc. Good in store items. Convenient parking.
• Cons: Not the cheapest, not a very flashy shopping experience,
