I ordered an arrangement of silk flowers by phone. I live out of town. When I was at the visitation I didn't see any flowers from our family. I went to the owner of the funeral home and we both looked at all the tags from the flowers. We didn't find any from my family.
When I got home I called the florist and I left a message with my concerns and also that I wasn't going to pay since the flowers weren't there.
I received a phone call from an irate employee telling me that he didn't appreciate my message because the flowers were there and he had worked his tail off to get them there. He also pretty much called me a liar,
He hung up and called the funeral home who called me to tell me that they were there and we just overlooked them. I have no proof that this is true but I also have no proof that he didn't take them the morning of the funeral.. I would say you will be fine unless you have a problem then be prepared to talk to a rude employee. It wasn't worth being upset over so I won't be using this florist unless they have a talk with him about his attitude toward customers. He also could benefit from a class on customer service.
