BEST Italian Food in Downtown. Food is great and workers are friendly!

Been working downtown a little over a year now and can't believe I haven't found this place before.

Affordable and nice location.

Too bad it isn't open later.

Good food poor services by owner - soup n a z i style. No doubt, the food is really good. But the owner is as rude as the soup n a z i . Hey mr n a z i, learn that people are your costumers, acting p i s s y around them is not cool. The two starts are for the food. Truthfully, it should be 4 stars but the owner's attitude just spoils the food,

TIS IS PIZZA. LIGHT YEARS FROM THE COMMERCIAL JUNK OUT THERE. I HAVE PRETTY RECENTLY FOUND THIS ESTABLISHMENT, AND IT HAS BEEN DOWNTOWN FOR 10 YEARS. I COULD JUST KICK MYSELF FOR EATING ALL THE OTHER. JUNKY PIZZA IN LOUISVILLE. AMBIANCE IS CAFETERIA STYLE AND CAN BE A NUSIANCE TO GET THROUGH THE LINE BUT WELL WORTH THE EFFORT. HOURS OF OPERATION NEED ADJUSTMENT,BUT ALOT OF DOWNTOWN EATERIES ARE THE SAME. PASTAS, SALADS AND SANDWICHES ALSO SERVED, BUT WHO CARES, I GO FOR THE PIZZA.... SUPERB.

Best Pizza in the City!. Luigi's is the best, REAL ITALIAN! Everything is so fresh...garbage pizza is delicious. Go there, you won't be disappointed. He should open a store in the Highlands!! I crave it on the weekends.

New York style pizza!. I LOVE Luigi's! If you want real Italian, Luigi's is the place to go - he has a wide variety of pizza, pastas and sandwiches. You can call ahead to get a carry-out order for dinner to take home. Everything is delicious - if you haven't tried it yet - GO!!! He just opened another location down S. Fourth Street.

Better than Boston and New York!. I am from Boston and had the wonderful opportunity to eat at Luigi's. The pizza was so good, or as we say up North...wicked awesome. You people in Louisville are lucky!! We were even served by Luigi himself.

And, I even tried the competition's pizza, won't say the name but they are famous for piling on toppings...heaviest pizza. And, it was horrible!!

The most authentic pizza in town!!!. Luigi's has the best NY style pizza in town!! He offers a wide selection of pizzas with FRESH toppings and his own homemade sauce. He also has a delicious selection of pastas that are made fresh daily as well as salads and sandwiches. By far the best bet for lunch in downtown!!!

Best New York City Pizza. The only New York Pizza in Louisville. It's the best pizza and all my friends agree.
