Experience the Louisville Science Center. I remember when my parents took my siblings and me to science and Imax theater. I still go for the exhibits and my church organization visits when we have a summer program for the children in the community.…
Hands-on exhibits and an IMAX theater make learning about math, science and technology fun..
Overview
This hands-on science and technology museum is paradise for young science buffs. The museum's interactive exhibits make exploring science, math and technology so enjoyable kids
will hardly know they're learning.
The Experience
Memorabilia from the space program is on display. "The World We Create" offers kids the chance to explore chemistry, computers and transportation systems. The "Body Watch Gallery" teaches kids about their anatomy with video games and exhibit galleries. Kentucky's largest indoor rock-climbing wall resides inside the center, so thrill-seekers can get their fill while smaller kids check out Kidzone. There's also an IMAX theater that shows educational films such as "Amazon" and "Dolphins." Temporary exhibits supplement the permanent collection. The on-site gift shop sells an array of toys that are as educational as they are interesting.…

Some of the exhibits that would have been age appropriate didn't work. Overall it was just OK and I wish we had done the zoo instead but it is January! We'll visit Cincinnati's this weekend and report back.…
