Ermins FOR SALE???? I was in last week and a guy came in asking to speak with the cashier about buying the business....... she had to get one of the retarded children to tell them duh as every other word and that they should call the owners (his parents???) this has been the local diner for the business lunch crowd for years and a haven for the local ne'r do wells hwo refuse to venture out for healthy food. I cant believe anyone who buys this place would keep it like it is...tired paint job...worn out machines.....left overs at premium prices......fuzzy walls...bathroom from hell...just beyond hells kitchen......the list is endless. If ur jonesin for grease in a throwback from the reagan administration hurry or u may not be able to eat here soon.......

You were very rude.. At my recent visit to Ermin's I was astonished at how rude the cashier was. I was literally told to 'go wait in the corner until someone could get to me'. It was ridiculous I have never been treated so poorly in all my life. I was going to apply for a position they had open but after seeing the quality of person employed there I decided better of it. Especially after their continued and very public rudeness towards me caused me to burst into tears. Who treats people that way? I don't care if it's a paying customer or a prospective employee it is not okay to treat people that way. I can only hope those employees are fired before they cause any permanent damage to this establishment.

Disappointing at times. I work very close to Ermins downtown and I get sandwiches there often, which are usually very good. The small tossed salad, however, is terrible. The lettuce is all frozen and there was ice in the bottom of the container. This has happened ono more than one occassion. Also, the pickle they give you with your sandwich has gone bad. Causes sour stomach. Not good. Stay away! This has happened on more than one occassion. I don't know how they stay so busy.

Best homemade soups, salads, pastas, breads, desserts, and great catering. Ermin's has a great selection of items ranging from hot to cold, to in between. The soups and salads are superb, as well as the most tasty sandwiches in "Old Louisville". Their catering services have always been prompt and complete every time I have ordered ahead. I would highly recommend Ermin's to anyone I know as a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot!
