couldn't be happier. i am not from the louisville area and decided to stop by as a walk-in today. I had carol and she was so easy to talk to right off the bat. absolutely no problems making conversation. she cut my hair different from what i'm used to i was uneasy at first but i really felt like i could trust her even after having met her for only five minutes. I absolutely love the style of my new haircut and am so thankful i found her!

LAURA IS WONDERFUL!!!!!. Laura has been doing my hair for about a year now! She is very attentive in listening to me and what I have in mind for my hair, makes great suggestions when necessary, never pressures me to buy products that I don't really need, and colors and cuts my hair better than ever before! (PLus she's COOL!) I usually go in looking like a ragdoll and come out feeling glamorous!

The salon is trendy, yet not snooty! Everyone there is outgoing and friendly! Another stylist there named Lindsey is now doing extensions, both to extend the length of your hair, as well as adding body or trendy colors! I have watched her do this process the past two times that I have had my hair colored/cut and she does a fabulous job and the added hair looks like your own hair!!!!! It really looks great!

I would recommend Laura at Scissorhands to everyone who enjoys getting their hair done in a relaxed, fun environment, by a highly skilled, upbeat gal like Laura!!!!!!! You won't be sorry!!!

Nice salon, no uppity atmosphere. I get my hair done by Greg Brewer. He is an absolute sweetheart and gives me a cut as good or better than the one I was getting for almost double the price at another salon in town. He doesn't pressure me to get extra services or buy lots of products. He has even given me a blowout with no product in my hair that looked silkier and shinier than when I have lots of texture cream/gloss in my hair. The salon is in a new location and now has a gym for women attached. I've never gotten anything other than a cut and blowout from Greg so I can't speak for the salon's other services or stylists but I'm thrilled with service from Greg.

Poor customer service. They didn't care what kind of hair cut I wanted. They had their own plan for me and I have to live with it. When they say "just trust me," trust me and run the other way.
