I recently visited the Bardstown rd store looking for some dj equipment and was greeted by tom. He was very helpful with the selection of products and very knowledgeable of how to hook up and work
the equipment. I was kind of scared when i first went in the the store for stereo type reasons, but didnt feel that all. Great people, Great service ok products. TO THE SALES GUY'S TOM AND CRAIG GOOD JOB.

I have been a customer of doowop since 1985. I purchased my first new guitar from them and I have been bugging the piss out of rob and the staff ever since. What can i say that needs to be said in
the nut shell I have tryed to do business with every other music store in the metro and surronding area . Not one other place offers you the selection and service that theese guys do. Hands down there the best. Thanks Doowop ,for putting up with me for all theese years.

Great Place for Great Music. I enjoy the environment i experienced when i took my first step into this little shop located down on bardstown road. I really enjoyed the friendly faces, the eagerness to help and sure enough every question i happen to throw at the guys there, each where able to answer quickly, correctly, and with an amazing amount of knowledge. You could tell by talking to them, that they loved the work they did, and that music was their passion. What i really enjoy most about the shop, was the "rent to own" sort of thing. no credit checks, simple, easy and cheap. Ive had my violin and my boyfriend, Drake has had his hand drum for a couple of months now, and for only 30 dollars we rent them both, and i believe it was 60 percent of what we pay, goes into ownership of our instruments. The only downfall so far was i was unable to find a good selection of self-teaching books. Im kind of a book nut anyway, so it may not be a problem for anyone else. Regardless, This is the place to go for good service, good quality, and good answers for any up and coming musicians out there. Its also the place for anyone trying to learn, or interested in learning something new. I love the Doo-Wop Shop!…
I own DooWop. I have been reading these reviews and thank you guys. You know we have been trying hard since 1971 to be fair and a good value to our customers. we have several three and some four generation customers. Let me also say that we are a 3 coming on 4 generation company and hope to "keep up the good work" for years to come.…
