The Scene – In a leafy suburb, just east of downtown, this steakhouse exudes an old-fashioned charm, from the green-coated waiters to its dark-paneled, woody nooks. On the weekends, it's almost impossible to get a table without a reservation. But, if you're waiting, the bar is an excellent spot to bide your time and soak up some local color. – – The Food – Unlike the big chain steak houses, the dinners here include salad and sides, putting folks in a good mood even before they've sipped their bourbon cocktails. Aged steaks are butter-knife tender and veggies…

My husband had talked about how great this place was for years and finally he took me there, I was very excited. The local non commercial atmosphere was nice, however the steak was bland and tasteless and there is not a very large selection of sides to pick from
and we ordered mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were good, but nothing else was. And they were good because they were dripping in bacon fat and butter. If our meal were the price of a Ryans steakhouse meal I might not have complained, but $ 75 for two meals I expected better.
- Pros: Atmosphere
- Cons: Quality of food
Great Food, Great Service, Great Setting

As a frequent visitor to Louisville for busines, I always try to push for dinner meetings at Pat's. Not only is the service always impeccable, but Pat seems to know every patron by name. The food is remarkably good, and, in these lean (get it! Pun intended!) times, my expense manager never complains about the tab for business dinners. There is always more food than apetites!
The location is convenient to the Interstates, and it's easy to describe to anybody whether they have been to Louisville or not. Pat never minds if we stick around at the bar to linger for a few extra drinks rather than head directly back to the hotel.
I always recommend Pat's to any visitor to the Louisville area.
- Pros: Perfect for Visitors ...
- Cons: Parking lot too full for so many guests ...
Overpriced, Rude serves

When visiting a friend in Lou. we wanted a good steak so they suggested Pat's. We were assured by them that even thought they had never been that it was the most renowned steakhouse in Lou. Let me keep this short.
1. Rude service by waiter.
Our waiter not only forgot one of the side dishes but it took us almost to the end of the meal to get his attention to correct it.
When it was time to pay for the meal I offered my credit card and instead of him politely informing me that they do not accept
credit cards he just said in a rude tone "Pat don't take no credit, There is a atm in the front" Then without one other look tuned
walked away.
2. Cold food.
The salmon steak was cold in the middle and the cauliflower side was also cold
3. The price for me is just ridiculous for what you get whatever was here in the past just is not any more.
The date of my visit was 02/23/09 at around 9pm
- Pros: No reservation but was seated fast.
- Cons: Poor service, some cold food items and very over priced
