Great Place. I enjoy going to porters, it was the first bar I went to when I moved here. I met my husband there and we have been together for 13 years.
Lose the smoke and gain customers. Great music. Great value. Bring an oxygen mask though. We need a smoke-free place to dance in Louisville.
Smoke City. Ya gotta love Porter's. Yes, it has the feeling of a meat market on weekends. However, I met my executive husband there!! The Stage
Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Rosanne Cash and Bo Diddley have all been featured performers, giving the Emporium an obvious country streak. Scores of rock, country, and dance bands play hits from the 1950s through the 1990s, and occasional swing nights brings in touring swing, rockabilly, and honky-tonk bands, so polish up those spectators and grab your zoot suit.…
