Best Salon Around!

I'm new to the area & had heard this was a good salon to try. I called to make an appointment for a few weeks out - the receptionist really took her time to ask me about my hair so she could match me with a compatible stylist. I was so lucky that the stylist she recommended for my difficult, thick, course, wavy hair had a cancellation that day!

From the moment I walked into the salon, until I left, I didn't feel rushed...or forgotten in a back room. I was given a complimentary beverage, tour of facility, & smock for my comfort. My stylist, Melissa, took quite a while to talk about my hair, desired styles - and analyzed my hair/face to recommend several options. We ended up combining 2 of her ideas to create a FABULOUSLY chic style for me! She recommended their products & other services...but it wasn't push or high sell. I do have to say that the product I DID purchase is very high end - and a little dab will do ya! Best of all - they give you a "lesson" on how to do your hair yourself! Nothing worse than a great look YOU can't do at home! I learned 3 new techniques that REALLY transform my hair & my style looks just as good when I do it at home. MAJOR BONUS!

Overall, I'm ecstatic to have found my new stylist & salon here in Louisville. The salon is high end, with reasonable prices for the quality. It's "fru-fru" without being pretentious. Most of all I really feel that I have a connection with my stylist & we are a team in creating the best hair style/look for ME. Cant' wait until my next appointment with Melissa!

Finally I found a place I love!

I have been going to Hair By Bennie & Friends for a little over a year now. Before that I went to whoever could do my hair when I felt the urge...lots of salons...lots of stylists..never stuck with anyone for longer than couple of hair cuts. My friend has been going to Bennies for many years, and she finally talked me into going. To get her off my back, I made an appointment for a haircut. So glad I did! Erin is my stylist, and she rocks! I get lots of compliments on my haircut and color, and it is easy to style. My whole family goes to her now, even my husband, and he was strictly a barbershop type of guy (first time I have seen him without a head full of cowlicks). Bennie's customer service is beyond reproach, and his products are top-knotch.

Love This Place!

I've been going to Bennie and Friends for the last 3 years and couldn't be happier. Melissa is my (and my husband's) stylist. From the first call to the salon, where the staff took to the time to ask questions about my hair, and helped determine the best stylist to match me up with, to the moment I walked in the door, I got the sense that every staff member was both knowledgeable and professional! Melissa took her time meeting with me, getting to know me and my hair (how much time do I like to spend getting it ready, what do I like about my hair, what do I not like about my hair, etc). I was so happy with that first experience, I convinced my husband to book his first appointment - it's more money than he's ever spent on his hair, but the quality of the cut is so much better, he wouldn't go anywhere else now. Every visit has been a pleasure, and my cut is so perfect - I don't "style" my hair! Wash, condition, styling product, blow dry...that's it. I rarely if ever even have to use a comb or brush. Perfect for my lifestyle. And for me, the true test of a haircut, is what it looks like 6-8 weeks from the last cut...and mine still looks great. Give Bennie's a try - you will not regret your decision. I have no problem budgeting my money to get my haircut/colored every 8 weeks when the results are this good!

Best Salon in Louisville

Ashton is my hairstylist. She gives a fabulous head massage and shampoo. Ashton is meticulous in her hair cuts and coloring. My hair always gets me compliments and the best part is she tells me how to style my hair to look like the day she cut it. Her prices are very reasonable and she gave me a 50% discount on a cut and color on my first visit. The savings paid for my next hair cut. I know I can always get the latest style and color and their products are top of the line. I recommend getting a young hairstylist like Ashton because they are trained by Bennie himself and their prices are excellent.

Bennie’s is the best salon in the Louisville area hands down.

I love Bennie and Friends!!!

I have had the privelage of having my hair styled at Bennie and Friends for about 5 years now. I always feel welcomed and pampered each time I visit. To start each visit, I am greeted by the friendly receptionists who never fail to serve me with a beverage of my choosing. My stylist, Paula, is the best! She always takes the time to talk with me before we begin to ensure that I get exactly what I want out of my visit. Sometimes I am unsure, but she is great at giving me styling advice. From the color, to the cut, to the wonderful shampoo and head massage, the entire visit never fails to be relaxing and enjoyable. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Some would argue that the prices seem high, but I don't mind paying the price I pay for the wonderful experience I have each I visit. I have recommended Bennie and Friends to several of my friends, and for those who decide to visit, I have never heard a single complaint. Bennie and Friends also carries their own line of styling products called BennieFactor that are incredible. I have used their products for years and they have always helped to keep my hair smelling good and looking great! I can't imagine trusting any other salon to my hair.....they are the best!!!!
