Blades is full of knowledgeable and outstanding stylists. I feel so confident that whoever beats my wig is going to rock it out..lol! Love this place:-) the staff is great and the owners truly care about their employees and their community. Visit Blades and will not be disappointed.

I had a Keratin Treatment with Ashley & it cut the blow drying & staying in half! My hair looks amazing and wonderful! I absolutely LOVE IT!

I love Blades and have been going for nearly 4 years now. They are a locally-owned business and have been around for over 30 years. I usually go to Rock Star Rachel. She is the gal to see for amazing modern styles. But really all of their stylists are so creative and will make you look like a super star in no time. Thanks Blades!

Will never return. I had been visitIng Blades for several months, always to see a specific stylist. The series of bad experiences wound up with my hair being called ethnic hair, for your info I am a Caucasian female with thick, not ethnic hair. Then, I asked the stylist to blow dry my hair only for purpose of styling rather than using a flatiron, she informed me that would not be possible (I prefer this look for I feel that my hair appears flat and lifeless when s flatiron is used). She used a black dye when I repeatedly asked for a brown hue, now, and with the help of my new stylist finally am able to color my hair to what I desire over a year later. The last piece that finally made me leave Blades was that I arrived for my appointment fifteen minutes early, to which the front desk informed the stylist. She had no client in the chair or undergoing a dye job, rather she was finishing up curling her own hair in her chair, and wound up coming to get me for my appointment fifteen minutes late. Enough is enough, the quality of her work was poor, but how she handled me was inappropriate. In a much happier environment now, but I hope this saves someone the frustration.

Great haircut with a relaxing atmosphere!. Amy Wathen gives great short haircuts! She also has a great personality and is fun to talk to while in her chair. I recommend her!

FINALLY! Someone who really knows HAIR!. I have been looking for someone in Louisville that really knows hair...I mean REALLY knows hair! Delinda at Blades Salon and Spa is WONDERFUL! She listens, she communiates and then she works. If only the best will do Delinda at Blades will do just fine...btw; while you're there get a massage with Cheryl. The very best I have ever experienced; EVER! I have traveled world wide and nothing compares to Cheryl's Massage. She is hard to get in with but well worth the wait.
