First timer & no complaints! LOVE!. Having just moved to Louisville I needed to find a new hair salon. A few of my friends had recommended that I try Josephs out. All of the staff were super friendly! I got highlights but no cut and I loved my color. It was the most relaxing hair appt. I have had in some time! I will definitely be coming back here for my next color. They also have a huge selection of Aveda products which I hadn't ever tried before but my stylist recommended a few things and wasn't pushy at all! I am anxious to try the Aveda products.

Bad customer service. Was looking around for a new hair stylist. Went to Joseph Salon today and was ignored by the staff at the front as they were talking . I finally asked if I could have a price list and was interested in coloring my hair. The staff did not like the interruption and had a chip on their shoulders from that point on. They spoke to me rudely explaining they could not color my hair . another salon colored it and they did not want to attempt to " mess" with the color or treatment. They suggested I go back to the original salon to get my hair colored. Wow never had someone turn my business down. Why were they so rude? I think it was because I was dressed in sweats (I just came from working out) so I may have not looked like a million bucks and that I interrupted their conversation after being ignored. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she was turned down because she didn't "look" like money. Well, I went to J R's Salon down the street. Was warmly welcomed. Not to mention they did color my hair and did some wonderful high lights. I will never recommend Joseph's Salon to anyone. What bad and rude business.

Best Salon and Spa in Kentucky. Only one word can describe my experiences at Joseph's- Incredible! I've never had a bad experience here. Not only are the stylists attentive and friendly but the ENTIRE staff is great! A trip to Joseph's is worth every dollar. Besides religiously getting my hair done here, I adore their spa services as well. Probably the best massage I've ever gotten. Definitely a must-try for anyone in the area

Louisville's best salon, by far!. Very detail oriented. They took time to listen to what I wanted and did a great job. "Don't take chances with your hair" is what I tell my friends... "go to Joseph's." It's worth every penny. They offer tea as well, nice touch.

Great service. I read a few reviews online before scheduling my appointment at Joseph's. Despite the few that I read that seemed to e circumstantial i decided to give them a try. I was very pleased when i called and the receptionists was so friendly. When I arrived i was immediately greeted by the owner and taken on a tour of the facility. I waited a minimal amount of time before being taken back to be consulted by my colorists. The color i was trying to achieve was a goal that was not going to be reached with just one visit. But both stylist listened to me and gave me the best color that I could achieve at this juncture as well as "just a trim." Very satisfied and will be going back in 8-10 weeks. Worth the extra to get the results intended.

Don"t ever get your hair colored at this salon. I had been going to a top colorist at Joseph's for 1 year. She was highlighting my hair blonde and absolutely ruined my beautiful thick hair. My hair is now thin and wispy and completely porous. This colorist, obviously knew what she was doing and I feel she absolutely and deliberately ruined my hair. My new stylist told me that he could tell what they had done -- they repeatedly colored and highlighted over the same strands so that eventually my hair just broke off. Now I have to re-grow my hair which is probably going to take over a year. I am absolutely furious with this salon for the poor treatment and destruction of my once lovely hair. Please do not go to Josephs if you want to keep your hair. The colorists do not know what they are doing. I do not want this to happen to you, which is why I am publishing this scathing review. They ruined my hair. Period.

Considerate and Distinguished Staff. For the simple service that I received, my treatment and the atmosphere exceeded my expectations. Make an effort to take in the amenities they offer. Since I was a new customer, they made sure I was satisfied with my treatment that day and also with a follow up phone call weeks later. That's five stars in my book for making the effort to keep the customer.
