Dr. Buck a great person and a Blessing from God
by lonilou
I have been a patient of Dr. Buck for 11years. He delivered my daughter who is now 10 yrs old. He has been with me for two miscarriage holding my hand and making me understand when I was so upset. Then in 2006 I was told I had lung cancer I was distraught walking around. Out of nowhere Dr. Buck appeared standing looking at me and gave me a hug while I cried alone. I don't know where he came from but he has been god sent from day one. I found out this week that he will be leaving the practice. He will be greatly missed and I will never forget this journey. Best wishes on your future endeavors.
- Pros: Very personal, caring and best OB/GYN in town!
- Cons: He's leaving the practice!
King Larry Griffin

I can not speak highly enough of this doctor. After years of trying to conceive, we miscarried twice within 6 months. Dr. Griffin knew the journey we had been through and became as emotional as we were when he learned of the miscarriages. He provided so much emotional support, not just health care. When we became pregnant for the 3rd time - he was on top of everything. I was treated high risk due to my history and I felt the red carpet was being rolled out for me every visit. Although the wait is annoying at times, I didn't mind. The arrival of a baby is unpredictable. I know HE will be taking care of me, not a back up or on-call doctor. To me, that is worth the waiting....
- Pros: Best OBGYN in the world. Caring, detailed, asks what HE can do for ME - every visit.
- Cons: Wait time in the office.
Dr. Buck-- My Knight in Shining Scrubs
by NurseCasey
As a nurse, I can appreciate how difficult it can be to find physicians who are a good fit. I have been with Dr. Samuel Buck now for almost 6 years, and can attest to his knowledge, good humor, and professionalism. He delivered my son to me 5 years ago, and this past summer performed a surgery to remove an ovary that had a cyst on it. The surgery was a daunting experience, but the last thing I remember before going under anesthesia was Dr. Buck holding my hand, and that's the first thing I saw when I woke up. He's truly a gem, and I hope he stays in practice just long enough to see me through menopause in....um.... about 25 years!
- Pros: Great attitude, takes time to listen, knowlegable.
- Cons: Busy office, but with good reason!
