GREAT DOCTOR!. Dr. Kirtley is my doctor there and he is awesome. He is so friendly and he actually cares. Hes not just there to get you in and out he is patient and will answer all your questions and he is so sweet.
Dr. Buck a great person and a Blessing from God. I have been a patient of Dr. Buck for 11years. He delivered my daughter who is now 10 yrs old. He has been with me for two miscarriage holding my hand and making me understand when I was so upset. Then in 2006 I was told I had lung cancer I was distraught walking around. Out of nowhere Dr. Buck appeared standing looking at me and gave me a hug while I cried alone. I don't know where he came from but he has been god sent from day one. I found out this week that he will be leaving the practice. He will be greatly missed and I will never forget this journey. Best wishes on your future endeavors.
King Larry Griffin. I can not speak highly enough of this doctor. After years of trying to conceive, we miscarried twice within 6 months. Dr. Griffin knew the journey we had been through and became as emotional as we were when he learned of the miscarriages. He provided so much emotional support, not just health care. When we became pregnant for the 3rd time - he was on top of everything. I was treated high risk due to my history and I felt the red carpet was being rolled out for me every visit. Although the wait is annoying at times, I didn't mind. The arrival of a baby is unpredictable. I know HE will be taking care of me, not a back up or on-call doctor. To me, that is worth the waiting....
Dr. Buck-- My Knight in Shining Scrubs. As a nurse, I can appreciate how difficult it can be to find physicians who are a good fit. I have been with Dr. Samuel Buck now for almost 6 years, and can attest to his knowledge, good humor, and professionalism. He delivered my son to me 5 years ago, and this past summer performed a surgery to remove an ovary that had a cyst on it. The surgery was a daunting experience, but the last thing I remember before going under anesthesia was Dr. Buck holding my hand, and that's the first thing I saw when I woke up. He's truly a gem, and I hope he stays in practice just long enough to see me through menopause in....um.... about 25 years!
Dr. Buck. My experience has been with Dr. Buck, I have been a patient of his now for 13 years and have always been comfortable. He was my OB with both of my children and I still go to him for all of my yearly checks. He and his staff have never been anything but professional and always go out of their way to make your visit as pleasant as it can be. There may be a long wait at times in the waiting room and you generally have to schedule your visits well in advance but I believe that is just a testamony of how good of a Dr. he really is. I would go no where else.
long wait and lousy service. I waited over 2 hours to see Dr. Griffin. I understand that happens when babies are being delivered and didn't mind the wait at the time. When I finally saw the doctor, he took a few minutes to get to know me in his office which I really apprecaited. I went in for preconception counseling having been advised that was a good idea. Dr. Griffin seemed bemused that I was being so proactive and basically told me to relax, only smoking and narcotics were totally off limits during pregnancy. After reviewing my family's medical history he ordered $400 worth of bloodwork without mentioning the cost (I have excellent insurance!) and no one ever called to interpret the results. Bottomline, it's a busy practice and the service reflects that. He wasn't a good fit for me.
Dr Griffin.
I have been seeing Dr Griffin for 3 years now. Dr Griffin is wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone.
Sometimes you speak to a person in the office who is not very friendly, but office staff come and go.
My experience. I've been going to Dr. Griffin for 6 years. He delivered two of my kids. He has always been very friendly and I've always felt very comfortable with him. The only problem I had was I recently had a miscarraige and it just felt like he was not very sympothetic about it. I almost felt as if I was on his nerves when I was bawling my eyes out on the phone to him.
Wonderful Care. When I went into Labor with my first child, my Women's Care OB was out of town and Dr. Griffin was on call. He was wonderful! I'd reccomend him to anyone!
Dr. Larry Griffin. Dr. Griffin has been my doctor since my first child as well, she just turned 5. I am now pregnant again with my second child a son. I absolutly adore dr. griffin, he and his staff are very professional, and make the patients feel at ease. I would recommend him to anyone.
