Scream-inducing rides in the midst of a gingerbread village..
Overview
From April through October, visitors can expect thrill-a-second roller coasters, splashing water rides and extravagant Warner Bros. presentations, such as Rockin' Country Show and Batman Thrill Spectacular.
The Experience
The park's biggest draw is Chang, which was the world's tallest and longest vertical roller coaster when it opened in 1997 (it's since been surpassed). There is also the Hellevator, a ride that plunges frenzied visitors straight down the side of a 177-foot tower, and Twisted Sisters, a pair of crisscrossing wooden coasters. The park has lovely, brightly painted gingerbread buildings and stylish floral displays.
Nice Place for Dorthy and Her Friends. Kentucky Kingdom is a fun Park best of all it dont Discriminate against Anyone...
July 31. Got there early, and went to the back of the park. Short lines, fast rides. Good time. After lunch, got very busy. Pools were extremely overcrowded to the point of almost unsafe for younger kids. Lots of lifeguards. Shut down the wave pool for 20 minutes every hour . . . lots of standing around time for LOTS of unsupervised teenagers!! Pretty expensive for stuff available. Price listed is not correct. $34.99 Adult or child over 48".
Crazy Fun. I had the best time when I went to this park. The lines were long but the wait was worth it because the rides were great.
