END OF AN ERA. It used to be when we wanted really good chinese food, and had something to celebrate or a little extra money, there was only one place we went...Empress of China...sadly it is no longer special. Right away we noticed something was wrong when we walked in, there was only 1 other party and the whole time we were there, only 1 other family came in. They have lost their liquor license, so the fun drinks (like the volcano one with the fire in the middle!) are no longer available. We ordered fish, and got calimari. Some of our food was not even warm when it arrived. The food is now so far below where it used to be, in fact when you consider the price -it is a very poor value. It was with deep regret as we walked out that we realized we would not be returning.

Wonderful cuisine!. Excellent food, a little pricey but an extremely diverse menu. The food is cooked to order and always fresh. The service is excellent.
