DISHONEST!!!!. The WORST music store in Louisville. Took over 4 months to get a refund on a layaway they lost 3x. Claimed I never paid any money, even tho I had receipts. They also have a tendency to blame their incompetency on the customer. This is typical of their operation. Its never their fault and no one at any of their other stores (including their rude incompetent corporate office know what is going on.)

Willis doesn't care about its customers over the long run. For that reason, it is easy to see how they will be out of business. Don't be surprised if their door are locked and you are left in the dust with your purchase.

Guitar Center may be a large corporation but at least they do not screw over their customers. That's why I'll keep my life long business there. Mom's Music is also an excellent store. They are a family run operation and run an honest business. I've never been ripped off or disappointed and they work to keep my business. I'll keep going back there.

As far as Slick Willis, expect losing your money and getting nothing but frustration. And for that layaway they lost for 4 months. Finally, got my refund after they took out their "restocking fee". Nice way to complete the screw Slick Willi.
