Best salon ever

I have been going to the Atrium Salon for over 10 years. I am thrilled to have Noelle as my stylist. She is so warm and welcoming every time I come to see her. My haircuts are terrific and it is the only time anyone has styled my hair and cut it that I have gotten compliments from strangers! She knows her stuff!
All the girls are so warm and friendly right down to the receptionist. It is nice having a receptionist there to answer the phone so the stylists don't have to worry about taking care of that like other salons. I love the location and the house that it is in. I tell them all the time it feels like I am coming to someones home and it feels like home to me. Melinda has done an amazing job of remodeling this home for a wonderful business.
I always look forward to my appointments. Noelle, Brandi, Savannah, Jamie and all the girls make me feel special. I have had massages, eyebrow waxing and facials and have loved every service that has been provided.
Thank s to Noelle and everyone for always making me feel special and important for all the many years I have been a customer. Your professionalism is much appreciated and I can always count on Noelle to steer me in the right direction when I ask for a cut that she knows I would not be happy with...honesty is the best policy!!
I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and kindness and showered with attention.

I won't be going back - left disappointed and (literally) burned.

Some of the people there seemed like they were regulars & having a good time, but I was not. It was my 1st time there so I came a few min early & feel like I was scolded by the receptionist for doing so. The receptionist seemed annoyed with everyone & when I told her who my appt was with (the name they told me on the phone) she scolded me for having the wrong name. The stylist got there about 5 min after my appt time should have started, and then took another 10 min to get ready & situate herself. She then proceeded to wash my hair in ice cold water and burn me with the straightening iron. The burn hurt really bad and left a large scar that was very visible. She seemed really annoyed & not apologetic. I guess I kept touching it (because it was burning really bad) and she finally sighed & said, ?we have something we can put on that somewhere around here, I can try & look for it if you want?. But it was very obvious she did not want to look for it. The cut I left with was good but only after she kept trying to be done with me and I kept asking for a little different here and there & could she please make the two sides the same length, etc. She didn?t really listen to any of my requests when she was cutting and when she?d ask questions such as ?do you tease it for body? & ?do you curl it under? & ?do you part it here?? I would say no and tell her how I like it, & she would do it her way anyway. Oh, I also felt annoyed at HOW she cut hair? instead of using her fingers to pick up the hair & cutting with the other hand, she?d use 1 hand and scrape the scissors across the back of my neck before cutting. I could feel the sharp scissors scratching my neck & being that I was already leaving with an injury I was really nervous about this.
Like I said, some people seemed happy there? some of the other stylists seemed very friendly to the people they were cutting. But I was practically in tears and will not be going back or recommending this salon to anyone.

Angela is Wonderful

I live in Tennessee where I don't think anyone knows how to cut hair. I moved to Tennessee several years ago from Louisville so I decided to go back to Louisivlle to have my hair done. I decided to try the Atrium Salon and ended up with Angela Ayers - Angela is wonderful. Angela is very personable, knows how to cut, color, and will cut anyway you ask. She will also make suggestions. If you haven't tried Angela then I suggest you do so.
