In Short – Benihana started out as a tiny four-table restaurant in New York City's theater district before becoming an international chain. Diners sit around large tables where chefs ostentatiously chop, slice, stir-fry and grill. Entree options are simple--shrimp, chicken, steak and scallops--and preparation is uniform. Every entree comes with a similar stock of sides: rice, onion soup, shrimp appetizer, iceberg lettuce drizzled with dressing, sauteed vegetables and green tea.
Best Japanese Restaurant in Louisville

I won't go anywhere else for Japanese food in Louisville. The freshest seafood, tender steaks, all at affordable prices. What's not to love? I always get the best of both worlds and order sushi while I eat at the teppanyaki grills. The specialty rolls and the nigiri are to die for. Once you whet your appetite with sushi, the chefs come out and cook your food perfectly. I like to order the filet and scallops with friend rice. I always leave full and more than satisfied.
