My services at Tranquility Salon & Spa have been wonderful! Whether it's a highlight & haircut with Avdo, a facial with Oksana or a brow wax with Rachel. The staff is both friendly and professional and I am definitely a regular customer!

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my spa facial with Oksana today at all.

She was very nice, I'll say that to start, however, the whole thing started off poorly when she leaned over me and I was wafted with cigarette breath. While the cleaning of my face was thorough, her touch was not what I'd describe as gentle or relaxing. Extractions (removing blackhead and whitehead) are not comfortable, but this was downright painful. She jokingly used the word "torture" twice. "Now comes the torture! Heehee." Hearing the word torture is not relaxing. Rather than be alert to my distress, I had to call "uncle" when it brought tears to my eyes. The massage of my face included rubbing her knuckles on my face, tapping fingertips, and at one point, literally sticking her fingers in my ears. I couldn't relax. The scalp massage was equally unrelaxing and left my hair a crazy mess.

Sorry, Tranquility, I don't think I'll be back.

You will really be pampered here!. Tranquility is conveniently located on Shelbyville Road at Hurstborne with plenty of parking and was everything we were looking for in a reasonable priced local spa and salon. My wife and I have been going for the past several years, and have our hair done by the superb stylists-Donna and CIndy, and appreciate the choice between Redken and Wella products. We both have regular massages with John and Shanna who are first-class therapists, and know how to cure whatever aches and pains we have, especially since together they have been doing massage for over 20 years. They have two professional estheticians-Tara and Maria, who specialize in using the all-organic Eminence skin care line that is very reasonably priced and lasts 10 times longer than the other products. With two great nail technicians, and a wonderful front-desk staff, we are always made to feel special from the moment we walk in to when we leave. You won't be disappointed if you go.

User review by taraslogin. Tranquility Spa and Salon was the most relaxing and comfortable place I have ever been. The staff was very friendly and personable. They really helped me relaxe and feel at ease. The spa is just to wonderful to keep a secret I think everyone should know about Tranquiliy.
