Tried it for the first time and will be back. i had their pizza for the first time. it has a very good tasting sauce. the crust is very good not like any of the other pizza places. i look forward to trying some of their sandwiches. the staff and owner were polite, i would think if i had dine in the service would be good.

i would say give them a try.

South Louisville landmark. Family owned and operated. If you are old enough you might remember this was originally a Shakeys Pizza Parlor. I actually celebrated a birthday there a Long time ago. Got the straw hat and everything. We used to listen and sing along with either the player piano or the couple who played the banjo and piano. A movie screen would be lowered and the words to the songs would be on the screen just so you could keep up. Great Times.

Well, the sing alongs are over and the banjo is since long gone. But the pizza is the same. After all this time it is still the same great, unique one of a kind pies that can be had no where else. The tables are the same. The walk in cooler that holds the frosted beer mugs is the same.

Cudos. For not selling out or changing to meet the masses. Great Job, Great Food and Great Times.

Great Pizza. What a great pizza place! I love walking in here and seeing the same tables I sat at in the 70"s! What memories...just wish the Kiddie Koral was still there! No one has ever been rude. Yes, it is costly but it is worth it! I would had to be confined to the other! Best pizza place in town hands down!!

Best Pizza Ever. I have always stopped at Bonnie & Clydes when going to or coming back from Louisville. My kids, and grandkids, always look forward to it. It is the best pizza any where....I just miss the piano plyer that used to play on the weekends :( (many years ago!!)

Great pizza, Alright price. From the parking lot you can tell that this pizza joint is something special. The old signs talking about ?new pepperoni pizza?, the always blooming flowers fill the entrance with a sweet aroma, but right when the door opens you know that pizza is cookin?.

The waiters are always soo nice to you, that?s because you?re the waiter. You just walk straight up to the counter and tell the man what you want. Depending on the size and amount of pizzas you ordered, it should be there in 10-25 min. During the time you wait a basketball, or some kind of game is always on the big screen monitor. Once you get you pizza you can dig in to a slice of heaven.

There are many varieties of pizza at bonnie n? Clyde?s, such as supreme, pepperoni, the bonnie, the Clyde, and also you can always make up your own pizza. A large pizza at papa johns Is 12in., but at B and C?s one large pizza is 15 inches! This can fill up a family of 5.

Prices can be a little rough. One large pizza is a round 18-22$ depending on the toppings. Compared to other pizza joints this isn?t too bad. A full meal for one person ?lrg. Coke, med. Pizza and a desert? is around 25$. But 6 cokes, 1 large pizza and a lrg. Desert can fill up 3-6 people for 40$ Also, bonnie n? Clyde?s has a wide variety of bottled cokes, and alcoholic beverages. Too help with the price you can always get coupons for buy 1 get 1 for 5.00 or buy 1 get the next size half of, which helps a lot with price.

The scenery inside of the joint is very nice too. Old pictures are hanging on a wall, a TV is always playing the big game, and the old-fashioned no back chairs are always delighting. If you have little children a glass wall is stationed where the employees make the pizza, which can be pretty neat to watch.

Overall this place is great; I would recommend it over any other pizza place any day. So hop in car and take a ride down to Bonnie n? Clydes fir some good times and great laughs.

Great Pizza, Lousy customer service. The pizza is the best I have ever tasted!! They do have coupons which help with the price. Guess where the coupons are though...Indiana phone book. Who knows why!! The owner usually is completely unsocial. He comes off as he doesn't give a heck about the customers. My last visit was prior to their busy time and he actually was half way nice!! My wife only knows of this place because of me and doesn't understand the draw. I have being going there every since I was a little kid at least 32 years. Honestly I haven't found a pizza that compares. Just don't expect a nice enviroment or customer service!!

I love it, but lots to hate. Great pizza (no) courtesy of the south end Soup Natsi (sic, site won't allow this word).. Other than the name (formerly Shakees) this place has hardly changed a lick since the it opened in the late sixties. Same owner since its third year open, same tables, same stained glass on the front door. The Kiddie Corral pizza viewing area is gone. But really - it's time for a remodel.

Now to the important stuff. I love the pizza. So do many others. This place looks like a Dixie Highway dive but it does good business. Despite the fact that this area - my part of town - supports few good original local eateries - this place persists.

Bonnie and Clydes is a love it or hate it kind of place. My wife doesn't care for it. She likes her pizza doughy. Their pies have a cracker crumb crust. It's thin and crunchy when fresh. I've declared this my favorite local pizza but I only eat there about once a year - on my birthday.

They take cash only. No charge cards, no checks. No delivery. It's really sort of pricey considering the place is a dump. It's hard to argue with my wife and drag here in there when the table tops are carved up and water damaged. Many of the seats have no backs. Topping it all off is the owner. I've seldom had cross words with him, but he isn't much on customer service. I read the other reviews here and had to put my two cents in. I don't know how he stays in business. There must be a lot of others just like me. Love the taste of his pizza, but he doesn't seem to give a rip about customers or the way the place looks.

At least the kids can run amuck in the place. Other than smashing his one television, there's nothing of value they can break.

Damn I love that place!

P.S., the attempted title of this review is an obvious reference to an excellent Seinfeld episode about a rude restaurant owner who does great business despite being abusive to customers. "No soup for you!"

Good pizza- very RUDE owner. I have been going to bonnie and clydes for over 10 years, recently i visited and was extremely disappointed. The employees were very rude, the owner was very rude. It seems like the owner does not care about the customers, only the money, with out the customers, he will be out of business, which is what i expect.
