Dixie Chicken and so much more!. On the outside the local joint reminds me of the colorful buildings you see in Miami,FL. Coincidentally the owners are from Trinidad. I was excited to try this place because I love ethnic food, especially island cuisine. The items on the menu lean more towards soul food but do have the suttle and delicious flavors of island food. On the weekends the owner makes this special trinidadian rice that has pork and special spices... Yum Yum... and the fried fish is superb, crisp and crunchy on the outside, and flaky on the inside. Other things you can get there are rib tips, fried chicken, yams, greens, and creamy mac n cheese. I recommend this one highly.
