Okay - so so by Reba Z. at InsiderPages

I took my three year old for her first haircut. Because it was a weekday, there was no one there. The facilities were good, the TV helped my daughter to stay still. She did want to stay longer to watch the rest of Diego. :)

I wasn't disappointed, but wasn't overjoyed either. It was an okay experience. A little pricey. The 'first haircut' package was not worth it. For four dollars extra I got a certificate with a bad fuzzy and bad quality printing picture and a baggy of hair. Oh well. I guess I will be looking for another kid friendly salon. $14 for a haircut that takes 5 minutes and includes nothing but taking a half an inch off the bottom is riduculous.

From what I read there, they are no longer going to be Cookie Cutters. They will still be a kids salon, but no longer under the cookie cutter name. Probably means higher prices and service stays the same.

great experience for kids, friendly and efficient staff, would highly recommend

We had a great experience at cookie cutters! We took our son there for his 1st haircut! They even have a 1st haircut package were they give you a certificate with date, picture, and bag with lock of hair in it! So Cute! I already put it in his babybook! They put him in a red race car with a saftey belt to cut his hair and you could pick out the cartoon to watch while they are getting their haircut! He cried the whole time but we expected that but the hairdresser was fast and efficient! They were very kid friendly and the staff was very nice! My older daughter (3yrs old) played on the slide in the store the whole time so she had a lot of fun there too! when they were done they gave him a lollypop and a balloon with a plastic cookie cutter for the weight! He was happy then! It was about $20.00 plus tip for cut and 1st birthday package. Which was well worth it for making his 1st haircut a special day. The staff was very nice and we got there about 10mins early for our appointment and they took us back right away we didnt have to wait at all. Would highly recommend!

  • Pros: Catered to kids, very fast and effiicient, friendly service, made 1st haircut special
  • Cons: location very far from where we live, could update a few things but very fun atmosphere

Rude hair dresser

by valeriekdavis at Citysearch

When we first started going to Cookie Cutters I would of HIGHLY recommended it......We finally found the right one to cut our child's hair. We set up an appointment on a Saturday was 5 minutes late and I guess she had to take a customer who was waiting. I fully understand that she is there to make a living but however she did not have to be so RUDE! When her next appointment came in she bumped us. If she would have explained it nicely we wouldn't have taken it so personally. She was very rude, I would recommend any other hair dresser but her. So in the future if you want to get your child's hair cut do not request Tracie who works Tues-Saturday if your a few minutes late she will be RUDE and bump you to whenever it's convient to her!

Thank you

We now take our business elsewhere and have found a even better stylist Thank you Cookie Cutters!
